Motorists asked for patience
The driving public are being asked to be patient if they get caught up in the slow moving haulage train making its way up the east coast today.
It's part of the Manx Festival of Steam.
Three iconic Fowler Road locomotives, carrying a Manx steam engine on the back, will be (hopefully) venturing north to Ramsey and then on to Jurby today.
The rest of the weekend will see a southerly journey to Port Erin, before a return to Douglas.
Road closures will be in place as the engines trundle along.
Chris Wedgewood is one of the organisers - he watched the train move away from Douglas Steam Station.
