FSA regulator to give key address
The chief executive of the Island's financial services regulator is set to deliver a key address today (27 Jan) at the annual 'State of the Nation' conference.
Karren Badgerow of the Financial Services Authority will take to the stage during the event at the Villa Marina, and address the gathering of risk and compliance professionals.
She took the helm at the FSA when it replaced the Financial Supervision Commission and the Insurance and Pensions Authority in November 2015.
The annual meeting will be officially opened by chief minister Howard Quayle with delegates set to discuss challenges faced by risk professionals in the year ahead.
Ms Badgerow says her talk will focus on the overall direction of her organisation:
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
