DfE brings scheme forward following feedback from hospitality sector
The start date for a voucher scheme designed to encourage more midweek trade at the Island's pubs has been brought forward after feedback from the industry.
The LoveIOM gift card had been due to be reintroduced from 23 January, but the Department for Enterprise says it will now begin on 2 January.
The initiative gives customers who use the card 25% back on their purchases in more than 60 Island pubs, bars and restaurants between Monday and Thursday.
The DfE says more than 1,000 cards have been purchased in the last few weeks.
