A man’s been committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery to face trial, after he allegedly stabbed his brother.
Twenty-two-year-old Thomas James McBurnie, of Cronk-y-Berry, spoke only to confirm his name and address when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
He’s pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm during the incident on 19 June on Bucks Road in Douglas.
Magistrates refused bail and he was remanded in custody to appear at the higher court on a date to be fixed.
