Beecroft motion defeated in Tynwald
A motion by South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has been defeated in Tynwald.
Mrs Beecroft wanted the Court to welcome the move of St. Thomas’s school to Scoill Vallajeelt as an integrated school, but not as a segregated campus.
An amendment from Kerry Sharpe MLC was voted through, to recognise the move to a shared Scoill Vallajeelt campus.
The schools will be colocated on the site from this September.
