High school says decision due to 'extremely high staff absence'
Year 9 students at St Ninian's High School in Douglas are being asked to work from home today (21 March).
In a letter to parents and carers, the school says the decision has been made due to 'extremely high levels' of staff absence currently.
All other year groups are being asked to attend the school as normal.
St Ninian's adds this situation will be assessed again during Monday and all will be informed if more alternative arrangements are needed for the rest of the week.
