Students and families to self-isolate until called by the tracing team
All year seven students from St Ninian’s Lower School are being ordered to self-isolate.
It follows work by the Covid-19 contact tracing team.
The direction also applies to everyone they live with.
Those affected have been told not to turn up at the school today and to await further instructions.
In addition government has confirmed Ballasalla School has been closed.
All students in years three and four are asked to self-isolate.
The direction also applies to teaching and support staff.
Any students who had been due to attend Ballasalla School should instead go to Scoill Phurt Le Moirrey in Port St Mary.
