Peel man guilty of multiple offences
A St John's man has been sentenced to 18 years jail after being found guilty of multiple rapes.
Forty-six-year-old William Henry Kelly was found guilty of 10 counts of rape, four of indecent assault and two of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Kelly had denied all the accusations.
The jury in his trial retired yesterday (Wed) to consider its verdict, after more than two weeks of hearing evidence.
They returned guilty verdicts on all 16 charges this morning.
