Manx Care says preparations for the programme are now underway
Manx Care says preparations are underway for a spring Covid booster vaccination programme.
The healthcare provider has been offering autumn boosters to those who are clinically vulnerable, with almost 24,000 people having received the dose, which is around 73% of those eligible for the jab.
Manx Care expects the spring booster programme will commence in March, but says it's awaiting further details from the Joint Committee on Vaccinations and Immunisations.
While the autumn campaign is complete, the health board has confirmed boosters will still be available at the Chester Street Hub for those who become eligible in between programmes.
