Two key roles performed by members of same family
A piece of history will be made at this year's Remembrance service at St. Johns when two of the key roles at the ceremony will be performed by members of the same family.
Daphne Murray, the Royal British Legion's celebrated standard bearer, will lay a wreath in her final appearance at the ceremony ahead of her retirement after 43 years' service.
Meanwhile her grandson, Jim Whyman, a member of the Ellan Vannin Pipe Band, will play a solo lament:
