Gov't confirms self-isolation won't be enforced
Steam Packet staff have welcomed clarification on self-isolation rules for Manx based crew.
Government has confirmed it won’t enforce isolation on those off duty.
It follows confusion over the direction notice issued to the company - and whether staff should have been self-isolating - since the Covid-19 pandemic began.
Chris Bowen, the chief officer of the Ben-my-Chree, told Manx Radio they had always been under the impression they weren’t restricted when on leave:
