Cannan tells politicians to remember they represent the entire Island
The chief minister says he's reminded the southern MHKs "they're national politicians too", after they unanimously rejected his Economic Strategy Annual Report in Tynwald.
Six members voted against the report, including all four members from Arbory, Castletown and Malew and Rushen.
It's after a recommendation was published which suggests the government close the Southern Swimming Pool at the end of the financial year as a cost cutting method.
Alfred Cannan says they need to consider the bigger picture:
47 buildings in the south waiting for protected status assessment since 2013
Nominations open to fill on seat on Douglas Council's North Ward
B&Q customers raise more than £3,000 for Hospice
Working hard 'no longer enough to afford to buy a home'
