Southern Civic Amenity: 'reduce, reuse, recycle'

The recycling centre is encouraging people to look to be greener in the New Year

The Southern Civic Amenity Site has a new solution for those wanting to go greener in 2022.

Their full-circle composting service starts with your green waste, which is sent to Ballaneven and returned garden-ready.

Board Member Stan Pilling says it's another string to the bow of the first, and most-used centre on the island, where the mantra has always been 'reduce, reuse, and ultimately, recycle'.
