The board says the rule isn't 'unreasonable'
The Southern Civic Amenity Site has introduced a new limit meaning residents are only allowed to dispose of six small bags of waste a month.
It says the change in policy isn't 'unreasonable' and will be monitored by staff, but it claims all sites across the Island have a similar approach.
The amenity site board has also confirmed the reuse area has closed because there is no money in the budget but hopes a new arrangement with a charity shop will 'benefit' the community.
