Dean Harrison leads Red Plates with lap speed of almost 114mph

In the Southern 100, Dean Harrison held the top spot in the second Red Plates session with a lap time of 2 minutes 14.527 seconds.

He was closely followed by Michael Dunlop - who took first place in the first session of the 1000cc practice.

Pete Founds and Jevan Walmsley led the Sidecar practice with a fastest lap speed of 98.418mph.

Dean Harrison beat Jamie Coward by less than 0.2 seconds in the Yellow Plates Supersport category.

Green Plates saw Jamie Coward lead in both practice sessions with a fastest lap time of 104.744mph in the second session - an unofficial lap record.

And Dennis Booth took the top spot in the White Plates 600cc class with a time of 100.138 on his fifth lap ahead of Barry Furber in second (100.073mph) and Jack Fowler in third (99.293mph).
