Southern 100 Memorial Service being held today

People invited to be part of ride-out and church ceremony

The annual Southern 100 Memorial Service takes place today ahead of the 2026 races starting next week.

Now in its 13th year, the event will involve a memorial ride-out covering two laps of the Billown Course before a service is held at Kirk Malew Church at Church Bends.

Riders, officials, supporters, officials, marshals and friends are all invited to be part of the day.

Those wishing to be involved in the Memorial Ride-Out are asked to assemble at the holding area at the Southern 100 Headquarters on Castletown Bypass at 2pm to set off at 2.30pm.

Anyone involved is reminded that any vehicles used in the ride-out must be road legal, taxed and fully insured.

The service at Kirk Malew Church is then due to begin at 3pm with parking available in the field adjacent to the church.

Separately, the 2026 Southern 100 Road Races are due to take place on the Billown course from tomorrow (Monday, 6 July) to Thursday, 9 July.
