Governor moves to beat of youth music project
Youth music project Soundcheck releases its third album later this month.
The new album out on 25 May, features tracks recorded in Soundcheck’s studio at the Youth Arts Centre on Kensington Road in Douglas.
Soundcheck has previously issued albums in 1996 and 2013.
‘Dare To Be Different’ will be available as a CD and download and its cover will feature artwork from 15-year-old Megan Turner.
Soundcheck recently welcomed guests to an open evening.
Among those present was the Lieutenant Governor, Sir Richard Gozney, who has agreed to be the charity’s patron, continuing an association begun by his predecessor Adam Wood.
The event was also a to mark the contribution of its treasurer, Jonno Gollow, who died in March.
