Many roads are still closed today (Tuesday) because of the adverse weather conditions, but a number of them are being reviewed, for possible reopening, this morning and this afternoon.
The roads which could be reopened this morning are Crellins Hill in Douglas, and Mona Drive from its junction with Victoria Road to Empress Drive.
The Ronague Road from its junction with Ronague Chapel to he Grenaby Road is due to be reviewed at 2.30pm.
Other roads will be considered for possible reopening at 11am tomorrow (Wednesday), namely the Mountain Road from Ramsey Hairpin to Creg-ny-Baa, the Brandywell Road from Barregarrow Crossroads to the Mountain Road, the Injebreck Road from Brandywell Cottage to Injebreck House, the Druidale Road from Brandywell Cottage to Ballaugh Glen, and the Tholt y Will Road from the Bungalow to Sulby Village.
Also due for consideration at that time are the Glen Mooar Road from its junction with the Poortown Road and the Glen Mooar Loop Road, and the Shoulder Road from its junction with Ballamodha (Foxdale) and Ballakillowey, Colby and all roads leading up to it
