LVA chair expresses concerns about challenges of coming months
Some pubs are considering operating shorter hours on weekdays during winter to combat potential financial challenges.
That's according to the chair of the Licensed Victuallers Association.
Geoff Joughin believes as international borders eventually reopen across the world in future, people will instead be saving money for the likes of holidays rather than spending locally.
He also mentioned the mental impact winter challenges could have on owners and says what he thinks could happen if the situation isn't addressed:
