"Some people were waiting too long" for gov't support

Applications took "a number of weeks" to process

A senior civil servant has admitted many applications to government's business support schemes took 'too long' to process.

Andrew Stewart was one of three Department for Enterprise bosses appearing at an emergency scrutiny session with Tynwald's Public Accounts Committee this week.
