It's due to staff shortages
Year 8 students at Ballakermeen High School have been asked to study at home tomorrow (27 May).
It's due to 'unprecedented' levels of staff absence.
In a statement the head teacher says despite the school's effort to 'continue to operate as normal' exceptional levels of absence have left her with no other option.
Adrienne Burnett adds staff are absent for a variety of reasons and some will not be able to return to work for a significant period of time which could result in further staffing issues in the near future.
