
The Island has so far escaped the worst of the snow which has caused major problems throughout the United Kingdom, but it will have some impact from this evening.
Inspector Richard Power (pictured), from the Roads Policing Unit, gave an update to Howard Caine, on Mandate at One.
He spoke of snow on higher ground and advised motorists to drive with great care (play extended audio file):
