No injuries, investigation underway
Isle of Man Railways officials are heading to Snaefell to investigate an accident on the mountain railway.
It's understood a carriage has derailed at or near the summit, having slid down the track for a distance.
No passengers or staff were on board at the time.
There is no word on the cause of the accident, nor the extent of any damage to rolling stock.
The Snaefell Mountain Railway opened for the summer season last Thursday.
