Knockaloe hosts two day agriculture event
The Royal Manx Agricultural Show starts today (11 Aug), and has grabbed the attention of a Northern Irish mashed potato entrepreneur.
Mash Direct owner, Jack Hamilton, stocks his goods in Shoprite - he runs the business from his family farm in County Down.
The invite came from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, which asked Jack to present the story of his company's international expansion.
It's Jack's first visit to the Island, and he told us what draws him to the Royal:
The event takes place today and Saturday at Knockaloe Farm.
The Isle of Man Food and Farming Awards ceremony takes place this evening to celebrate the best of homegrown produce.
