
An £8 million scheme to regenerate Island towns and villages is not progressing as quickly as it should be – certainly in Ramsey, according to a town commissioner.
The money was approved in this year’s Tynwald budget for an Island town and village centre regeneration fund.
However, Leonard Singer (pictured) says the board’s in a state of flux as it awaits other parties to come forward to discuss potential Ramsey measures and he’s disappointed at a lack of progress:
