One company, with a licence, has planning permission for a facility in the south
The Isle of Man is moving forward with its work on developing a medical cannabis sector, according to the enterprise minister.
During this week's Tynwald sitting, Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover asked for an update into the work on the Island.
Tim Johnston revealed it's a 'slow process' but is still moving forward.
He says his department is still putting complex structures in place, adding that regulatory challenges are being ironed out.
However, he says, there is interest in the market:
