
A ten year campaign for a skateboard park in Onchan may come to a successful end tonight.
Commissioners have agreed to look at a 600 name petition calling for a skatepark on playing fields in the village - local youngsters have collected the signatures themselves.
Funds for the scheme were agreed long ago - but the board has yet to vote on making it a reality.
Tonight youngsters with their skateboards will once again lobby the commissioners meeting.
