Chief Officer believes basic training is vital
All Manx residents would benefit from knowing some first aid according to a senior figure from St John Ambulance.
John Gill, Chief Officer of the organisation's Isle of Man branch, insists knowing the basics can make the difference in a life or death situation.
The charity offers courses teaching life-saving techniques, including CPR and how to operate a defibrillator.
Speaking on the Mannin Line, Mr Gill says the training is essential:
