Home Affairs Minister and MLC for Jurby
Instead of avoiding prison, a group of Island residents has volunteered to be locked up for 24 hours.
Sixteen volunteers have put themselves forward to be arrested, taken to Jurby prison, and locked up in a cell overnight.
Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson and MLC Michael Coleman are among the group taking part on March 5 to 6.
Many involved are raising money for the charity PrisonWorks.
