Follows confirmation of £30million new dock
Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson, says the Island 'plays itself down'.
He was speaking on Mandate this morning, following confirmation of a new £30 million ferry terminal for the Steam Packet at Princes Half Tide Dock.
Mr Anderson says the Island remains an important partner for Liverpool but said it's not clear what will happen between the closure of the current terminal at the end of 2019, and the proposed opening of the new terminal in 2021:
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
