John Wannenburgh was elected to the constituency in 2021
One of Douglas North's sitting MHKs has declared his intention to stand in September's General Election.
John Wannenburgh was first elected to the constituency in 2021.
He says the next administration will have significant challenges to overcome, including rising healthcare costs, immigration, energy and food security and the economy.
"These are all huge and pressing matters (there are many others), and we will need experience with cool and calm heads as we navigate what will be an extremely challenging five year term."
Also standing in Douglas North is Hugo Yates.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
