A public meeting in the west of the Island tonight will discuss the Department of Infrastructure’s dredging operations at Peel harbour.
Called by German Commissioners, the event takes place at St John’s Methodist Hall starting at 7.30pm.
It’s in the wake of complaints about spills of contaminated silt onto roads, storage ponds at Poortown and the DoI’s information releases during the work.
Chairman of the German board, Matthew Wadsworth, says he’s expecting a big turnout:
Michelle Mone-linked PPE firm liquidated and unlikely to repay £148m
Yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping
Proposed new laws would support homeless people on the Isle of Man
