The Island is playing host to the Celtic Kingdom Festival of Silk this week.
It's being hosted by the Guild of Silk Painters Isle of Man and will see an exhibition at the Sayle Gallery, a fashion show at the Sefton Hotel and workshops over the weekend.
Many of the best known artists in the medium worldwide will be coming to the Island.
Jean Buck, from the Guild of Silk Painters IOM, says it's a great honour for the Island as it's a bi-annual, international event usually held in the UK or Europe
