A major route between Douglas and the south of the Island has been closed because of 'significant' flooding.
Brown Cow Hill in Santon is not passable and has been shut by the Department of Infrastructure.
Officers from the Isle of Man Constabulary are also assisting in the areas most affected.
Traffic is currently being diverted via Oatlands Road and drivers are being urged to avoid the area if possible.
UPDATE 10:38am: The Department of Infrastructure has informed police that the flooding at the bottom of Brown Cow Hill has been cleared, and the road is now open to traffic.
