It's been a record breaking year for cetaceans in the Irish sea and it seems that Manx waters are a far more important breeding ground for dolphin species than previously thought.
That's the conclusion of researchers from Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch after a very successful summer of sightings and logging the animals.
Tom Felce (pron: Felse) from the organisation says the year has yielded some spectacular views and very useful information
And if you do sport any whales, dolphins or porpoise, please do let Tom know via the website mwdw.net or their facebook page
