Sight Matters marks 90 Years with packed programme of events

Sight Matters is celebrating its 90th anniversary with a wide-ranging programme of fundraising and community events.

Upcoming events include quiz nights in March and July, a School Banger Singalong and disco at the Manx Legion, the return of Dining in the Dark in April, and the charity’s first Wellbeing Day at Corrin Court in May. 

Traditional favourites such as coffee mornings will continue, alongside larger events including Ivan Salisbury’s Coast to Coast Walk in September.

Speaking to Bob Harrison, Volunteer Coordinator Debbie Thompson highlighted the importance of events in supporting the charity’s work with more than 700 blind and visually impaired people across the Isle of Man:

Debbie also emphasises the role of volunteers in making these events possible, encouraging anyone who can spare even a small amount of time to get in touch.
