Public Health Director expects Kent variant to be confirmed in recent cases
A shorter incubation period between exposure to Covid-19 and the onset of symptoms has been seen in the latest cluster of cases.
That's according to the Island's Director of Public Health, Dr Henrietta Ewart.
She was asked whether the cases confirmed since Thursday are the Kent variant of the illness.
While the genomics results aren't back yet, Dr Ewart says she expects to see the Kent variant in the cluster:
