Bakery 'grateful for support and guidance'
Manx bakery Noa Bakehouse says the takeover of Shoprite stores by Tesco presents an 'opportunity to innovate'.
Noa's baked goods have been a common site on Shoprite shelves for over a decade - it says it will 'always be grateful' for the stores taking a 'punt on a small start up and for helping us grow and go up against the long-life preservative heavy BIG boys on the bread isle!'.
All nine Shoprite stores have been sold to Tesco with rebranding taking place over the next nine months.
It's lead to questions about what happens next for some of the local produce currently being stocked.
Noa Bakehouse says there are 'challenges ahead' but it's 'confident this is another opportunity to innovate, develop and become even better and fitter for the future.'
