Victoria Road site in Douglas will be accessible
There's reassurance for people who use the pharmacy at the Victoria Road Shoprite.
When the store closes to be refitted as Tesco this Saturday, the chemist will be staying open as normal.
While the work is ongoing, there will be an alternate entrance and exit to the pharmacy which will be signposted
Tesco has vowed to convert the nine former Shoprite stores into five Superstores and four Express stores throughout this year, with the Victoria Road and Castletown store being the first to cease trading as Shoprite on 6 January.
A date for reopening is still to be confirmed.
