House prices key to attracting residents
The Island's population is beginning to grow again, according to the latest official figures.
Last year's census showed a decline in the number of residents, sounding alarm bells for government hopes of economic growth, which are pinned on growing the workforce.
However, the first quarterly economic report of 2017 - giving a snapshot of business sectors and the jobs market - tells a different story.
It suggests the population has grown by around 300 in the past year, and analysts think some have moved here to fill jobs, as unemployment falls.
