A Ewe lamb has had to be destroyed and another is badly injured, following an incident of sheep worrying.
The sheep were attacked yesterday afternoon (Thursday) at the Axenfell Plantation in Lonan by a black, white and brown dog, similar in size to a Collie.
Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack and would particularly like to speak to a woman in a green car who could have information about the incident.
Poilice would also like to remind dog owners their dogs should be kept under control when out walking.
