Just 0.05% chance of TT practice
TT practice sessions for tomorrow look unlikely – with gale force winds of up to 60mph expected to sweep the Island.
Last night’s practice session had to be cut short because of rain, a perennial problem for TT organisers.
But meteorologists at Ronaldsway Met Office say they’re 99.95 per cent sure practice on Monday will fall prey to the wind, which will be strong enough to cause some damage.
The severe gales may also cause some disruption to transport links.
Forecaster Colin Gartshaw says the day may start promisingly, but it’ll soon take a turn for the worse:
