'Severe' car damage witnesses called

Incident took place in Hillberry Lakes, Douglas

Severe damage to a car in Douglas has prompted a witness appeal.

Police attended a house in the area of Hillberry Lakes at 4:30am this morning (Thu) to find a car with both nearside windows smashed and a tyre let down.

Officers say it caused 'great upset' to the owners, whose young daughter heard what happened.

The driver of a small white van who left the area a short time after the incident is asked to come forward.
