Vicki Hewison announces House of Keys bid
A seventh candidate has announced they'll be standing in Garff in the General Election.
Vicki Hewison is a businesswoman and campaigner, having opposed plans to close the Cummal Mooar Older Persons Complex in Ramsey.
If elected, she says her priorities would be the economy, healthcare, housing and education.
Vicki says: "As a constituency, Garff is facing some real challenges with the spectre of Mooir Vannin Windfarm and also the Laxey Sewerage Treatment works.
"Voters need to regain trust and believe that their elected representatives will be vocal and active to ensure that the best possible outcome is reached for our community in both scenarios."
Also standing in Garff are Anthony Allen, Sean Bostrom, Daphne Caine, Aishlinn Creer, Peter Kermeen and Martyn Perkins.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
