
Friday will see the 40th anniversary of the Summerland fire marked with a special service.
Fifty people lost their lives in the tragedy, which also destroyed the leisure complex.
Since the rebuilt Summerland was demolished in 2005, there have been regular calls for the site to be developed for residential or leisure use, and even proposals, which never come to fruition.
