Serving personnel and veterans recognised
It is Armed Forces Day in the Isle of Man.
This afternoon our serving personnel and veterans will be recognised.
There’ll be a march along Douglas Promenade before a service at the Villa Marina, followed by an afternoon tea and entertainment.
Brigadier Norman Butler is chairman of the event organising committee.
He says this year’s theme - ‘Peace and security for all, hard won by the few’ – is most fitting for all generations.
