Medical Society concerned over numbers
There are ongoing issues with GP numbers in the Isle of Man, and there could be real problems in the next few years if more can't be recruited.
That from Dr John Snelling, who is on the GP committee of the Isle of Man Medical Society.
He has been speaking to Manx Radio ahead of a visit to the Island by the chairman of the Royal College of General Practitioners tomorrow.
Professor Helen Stokes-Lampard is due to meet with local GPs at their quarterly gathering, to discuss the issues currently facing them.
Dr Snelling says there is one area of real concern:
Doctors accept three-year pay offer
Seven acts promulgated in final Tynwald Day ceremony before election
Sharp rise in data breaches on Island, says Information Commissioner's Office
Footage circulating on social media 'now an active investigation'
