
Police say a main road in the West of the Island is currently closed as the emergency services deal with a serious road traffic accident.
Officers say the incident happened at around 11am.
Main Road in Foxdale is shut between the Hope and Mines Road, and will remain closed until around 3pm.
The Island’s Fire and Rescue Service say three fire crews are helping at the scene, as well as paramedics and the Island's medevac helicopter.
Two people have been taken to Noble's hospital.
Officers are asking motorists to avoid the area, and not to divert via the Lhoobs Road in Foxdale because of heavy traffic in the area.
Isle of Man Transport says its number 4 and number 8 buses are being diverted via Glen Darragh Road and the TT course.
