Two accused due in court today
Two Peel men have been charged after what police are describing as a serious assault in the town on Saturday night.
It left a 25 year-old man with serious head injuries.
The men, aged 18 and 20, are accused of committing grievous bodily harm with intent and will appear in court later today (Monday).
Police say the incident happened around 10.35pm on the paved area outside the House of Manannan, directly opposite the Creek Inn.
Although they have spoken to a number of witnesses, they’re keen to speak to anyone else who saw what happened in a busy area at the time.
