A number of arrests have been made but investigation is continuing
Police are investigating a serious assault after a young male was left with a puncture wound to the abdomen in an incident on Groves Road in Douglas.
The male is receiving treatment in hospital for his injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says a number of arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
Groves Road was closed for around 10 hours yesterday while officers were at the scene.
Police say they're aware of videos circulating on social media and are urging anyone who witnessed what happened to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
